Reverse Osmosis uses a semi-permeable membrane, like a cell wall or
a bladder, that is selective about what it lets pass through. Water,
which has a small molecular size, passes through the membrane easily.
Contaminants in the water are prevented from passing through by trapping
them.
The RO systems work by pressuring water up against the membrane,
stopping contaminants but allowing water through.
Work in conjunction with other filters that remove large sediment,
taste and smell.
